Kasanický Consulting
Kasanický Consulting is an advisory firm based in Bratislava. It works at the intersection of public administration, the private sector and international relations — where a decision depends as much on substantive preparation as on knowledge of the environment in which it is taken.
The company is organised into five areas of activity. Each of them grew out of a specific client need, not out of an organisational chart.

To be the partner a client calls before deciding — not afterwards, when the damage needs undoing.
Mission
To bring into decision-making what cannot be read from documents: knowledge of the environment, precise timing and a realistic sense of what will actually pass.
The story of the company
The advisory practice has been founded three times: first in 2008 as a sole trader at the intersection of the corporate and public sectors, a second time in 2013 as a limited liability company, and a third time in 2025 as the present Kasanický Consulting s. r. o. Even then it worked in divisions that matched what clients were bringing to it: political affairs consulting, support and assistance, translating and interpreting, representation, and the security segment.
Its activity was interrupted twice. In 2010, when the founder joined the Ministry of Transport of the Slovak Republic as a state counsellor, and again in 2016 before he joined the Railways of the Slovak Republic — a state joint-stock company established by a dedicated act, whose sole shareholder is the state. Whoever holds public office should not at the same time do business in the field that office touches. Rather than look for a formal arrangement, the business was simply stopped.
After the parliamentary elections of 2020 the founder returned to advisory work and to writing expert commentary on domestic and international affairs. The present company, Kasanický Consulting s. r. o., has been entered in the Commercial Register since 28 January 2025 and continues the same practice and the same division structure.
How we work
Every assignment begins with a conversation with the company's managing director, and the same person sees it through to the handover. Each stage leaves behind a written record that stands on its own: in an audit, in a handover to a successor, and two years later.
We prepare documents in the language in which they will be decided, and we negotiate in the language of the counterpart.

Mag. phil. Matej Kasanický
managing director and chief executive
Political scientist, graduate of the University of Vienna, doctoral candidate. He has worked in public administration since 2003 and in advisory services since 2008. Sole shareholder and managing director of the company.

- Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family of the Slovak Republic; press secretary of the Social Insurance Agency.
- 2008
- First founding — Kasanický Consulting as a sole trader; advisory work at the intersection of the corporate and public sectors.
- 2010
- Business activity suspended. The founder joins the Ministry of Transport of the Slovak Republic as a state counsellor.
- 2013
- Second founding — return to business after the early elections and transformation into a limited liability company.
- 2013 – 2016
- Assistant to Árpád Érsek, member of the National Council of the Slovak Republic.
- 2016 – 2020
- Railways of the Slovak Republic — communications department, later the department of strategy and international relations.
- 2020
- Departure from the railways after the parliamentary elections. Return to advisory work.
- 2025
- Third founding — registration of the present company, Kasanický Consulting s. r. o.

- Security Solutions Division — application filed for authorisation in the defence industry segment.
